In the 1960’s and 70’s, showbands brought respite to the youth of Ireland. One of the most popular, the Miami Showband, traveled north and south of the border impartially entertaining divided communities during the height of the Troubles. This film tells the tragic story of how the band’s innocent members fell victim to the Troubles themselves, at the hands of a UVF gang. It is the story of an event which led to the death of three young men and the death of the showband era.
